21st Gives Back: Mobile Meals


A group from our servicing team volunteered at Mobile Meals today delivering meals around the Knoxville area.  Mobile Meals needs around 100 volunteers a day to be able to deliver over 900 meals.  Mobile Meals provides 1 meal a day five days a week to people who are over 60 years old and cannot prepare meals for themselves.   We split up in two teams to take different routes around Knoxville delivering either a hot or cold meal to a total of 25 people.  It was nice to see the joy it brought to them to have someone stop by to bring them food and just talk to them for a few minutes.
